My best friend.

Thinks I should tell you all my daily makeup routine which isn't too daily since half the time i'm way too lazy to even do anything ha ha.. unless I'm trying to impress someone or I feel like getting ready.. :/ yep. That's my life story. I don't care what people think of how I look.. I'm not ashamed. :) ha ha.

SO THEREFORE HERE IS MY AWESOME MAKEUP ROUTINE! 

Step 1: Apply Equate Daily Moisturizer.. $4.65 at Walmart

Step 2: Apply Victoria Secret VS Pro Face Primer... $8.00 (with $10.00 off coupon) 

Step 3: Use a small amount of Neutrogena Healthy Skin liquid makeup $9.75

Step 4: Apply Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder (fills in all the cracks..) $3.00

Step 5: Use Softlips vanilla chapstick (makes your lips so soft all day long!) $1.67

Step 6: Apply one layer of Maybelline New York 'The Falsies' mascara $6.50

Step 7: Apply one layer of Covergirl 'Exact Eyelights' mascara $6.47

And there you go.. my simple 3-5 minute (depending on how I feel...) makeup routine ha ha!.. and I don't always do Step 3.. I sometimes skip it and go to Step 4. :)

I have a good friend.

So recently I was skyping with my bestie when we were joking about how I should be a love advice person.. when she said you know what would be funny? If you started a blog.. well.. I did. So now I have a blog where people can ask me love questions and I will answer them ha ha! :) It is actually a very fun blog.. well for me.. and I find it hilarious. Chelsey you got some splanin to do!

So about that post the other day.. well.. lets see. I had a date! I was pretty excited about it because it was with this pretty cute kid. We'll call him Ted. :) Yeah.. so I might have danced a little.. and I just might have been a little nervous ha ha.. but it was pretty fun. At least I had fun. He's a really sweet guy, very well mannered.. and his smile is to die for. :) He also has really pretty eyes and he's tall too ha ha! Not sure why I was nervous ha ha!... I think it went well.. at least I hope it did. We went to Provo Beach Resort and played in the arcade.. I must say we are pretty pro at Skee-ball ha ha! That's where we spent most of our time.

 After that we went and got some grub. Mm, it was pretty good! He then invited me to go over to his house and hang out for a bit so we watched a couple of shows I've never seen or even heard of before.. they were pretty funny! I highly enjoyed them. ;) After they were over we played a a really old classic board game. Candyland. :) It was pretty intense. We decided there should be a Candyland tournament. ha ha! I won once and he won the intense game.. NOT FAIR. ;) Just kidding. After we played Candyland I went home.. I was going to help my mom get ready for Bunco. 

(And also I didn't want to be clingy ha!)

My mom and I went to Walmart to get some V-day decorations because we found out that we don't have any ha ha. (We don't really care for this holiday..) 

But before I continue this story let me tell you a little background so it all makes sense...

On Friday my mother and I went to Target and there were a few people lined up and we were like what the heck..? And then it hit me.. the new Twilight movie is coming out at midnight. So I explained everything.. they were having a special preview and blah blah. ha ha. So my mother and I laughed... we laughed even harder when we saw a girl in line sewing a Twilight quilt. Well, that's cool.. I guess..? Twilight just isn't my cup of tea so I find it hilarious how crazy people get. 

Okay now back to the Walmart story...

So we're walking along and there is this huge case of the new Twilight movie and it has Taylor Lautner all over it.. so me being me I ask my mom to take a couple pictures for me.. Well, I got some funny looks.. and I believe these pictures will explain why. And thus.. this is why my family loves me. ;)

 After that experience we were looking for a movie which they don't sell in any stores. :( Makes me cry.. it's like one of my favorites. SO hopefully I'll be able to find in online. But that's besides the point ha. We decided to just look through the movies so we were digging through this huge bin of five dollar movies and all the sudden I hear, "Hey Chelsey..." and in my head I'm like I know that voice.. so I look up and who is it?! TED! ha ha. Now that just made my day/night even better. I mean he must of thought it was a pretty good date because he could have just walked right past me and said nothing but instead he said hi! ha. I'm like a five year old. Awesome. :) After Walmart we went home and my buddy Jenny poo came over.. and that's when a night full of disaster started...

I'll keep most of what happened private because I don't want to share too much. But.. lets just say her house got wrecked.. dogs were sick and I ended up sleeping over at her house.. with not that much sleeping ha ha.. So thus this is why there was a delay in my post.. I apologize.

But, I found out that someone is really sweet.. and actually care.. and I also found something else out about this person. I'll share it with you later though.. well maybe. So don't hold me to my word ha ha. But I also found something else out that I'm pretty excited about.. :) It's a feel good thing ha ha.

And that is the story of my amazing day/night....

NOW I'M OFF TO GET SOME SLEEP!

Lost..

I'm lost. I don't know what to do. I have two options.. but I'M SO CONFUSED. This wasn't supposed to happen.. ha ha.. oh man. :/

..... Yep.

Well, I surely haven't been up for blogging lately. Why you might ask.. well my "oh so easy" button lamp shade.. has turned into hell.. ha ha. It's taking waay longer than I thought because I decided instead of spacing the buttons I'd try getting them all as close as I can.. oh my.. this takes A LOT OF BUTTONS... bad mistake ha. Next big mistake.. hot glue gun! They are SO messy.. but.. I think it's what will work the best... but they just get so hot. So here comes to my third mistake.. being clumsy and burning the tip on my finger... well pretty much the whole top of my finger. OUCH. So as you can tell.. I'm not having much luck with my whole lamp.. but It's like half done.. it looks pretty cool so far.. so in the end I suppose it will all be worth it. And with that said... I am for sure posting a picture of the finished product.. so you all better enjoy! ;) ha ha. Just kidding. But I will put a picture up once it's all done.. but who knows when that will be... ha ha!

Fried Pickles

"Eating fried pickles was a life changing experience."

What you'll need:

1 egg, beaten

1 cup milk

1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1/2 teaspoon salt

3/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 1/2 - 2 cups all-purpose flour

1 (32 ounce) jar sliced dill pickles, drained

1 quart vegetable oil or sunflower oil for deep-frying

Directions:

1. In a small bowl, mix together the egg, milk, 1 tablespoon of flour, and Worcestershire sauce. In a separate bowl, stir together the remaining flour, salt, and pepper.

2. Heat oil to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) in a deep-fryer or heavy deep skillet. Dip pickle slices into the milk mixture, then into the flour mixture. Repeat dipping.

3. Place the pickles carefully into the hot oil. Avoid over crowding by frying in several batches. Fry until pickles float to the surface, and are golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon, and drain on paper towels.

Simple right?... Happy munching! :)

SCARY MOMENT!

Story time.. Right!?

Okay, here is goes...

(okay, my dog doesn't really look like this.. but he sure acts like a girl...and a princess..!)

Once upon a time.. I was sitting in my bedroom minding my own business.. you know just skyping with my best friend. When all of the sudden my dog jumps off my bed and starts acting like a nut. He walks around in a circle like five billion times then lays down so I'm like okay whatever.. and continue to skype with my buddy. Then out of nowhere he gets up walks over by my lovely dresser and decides it's a good spot to let out what he last ate. YUCK! I then JUMP out of my bed pick him up and run him downstairs and let him out the back door... not thinking anything of it.. you know it's only 1:00 AM. No biggy. So I go upstairs and begin to clean up the oh so nice present that my darling puppy left for me. I went downstairs again to see if he was at the back door yet. Nothing. I then thought to myself.. oh okay and went to the laundry room to put the rags. I then hear talking outside of the laundry room.. I get a bit nervous.. but think oh it's probably just the neighbors. BUT THEN!! The outside light pops on.. NOW I'M THINKING HEEELLLLP! I just stood there in the laundry room frozen.. I then heard what sounded like the gate open and then a loud BOOM!

(I for sure thought I was going to see this!)

I then run upstairs to my room.. shaking and I tell my friend what's happening.. and I tell her that I'm afraid to go outside and get my dog... alone.. I don't want to die.. I tell her that everyone is asleep and I don't want to wake them for multiple reasons. I then hear car doors slam shut.. and a car speed off.. my dog still hasn't came to the back door and everything is silent. So I begin to tell her that. She then tells me to grab my pepper spray and bring her with me to go and get my dog.. I decided I'd wait a bit and finished to clean up the mess. All of the sudden my dog starts barking a bark I've never heard before and he's going crazy.. I run downstairs grab the pepper spray in my purse and then the barking stops.. so I wait by the back door for just a bit then the barking starts again and it's getting worse.. I then got the worst butterflies of my life. I peeked out the window and saw my dog standing in the middle of the lawn looking around the corner at something.. he begins to bark again and run back and forth. In my head I'm thinking are all the doors locked? There is NO WAY I'm going out there to get him.. so I check all the doors, windows and stand by the back door.. pepper spray in hand just waiting for silence or something.

(this was totally me.. ready to kick some serious bum bum!)

. when I all the sudden see the upstairs light flip on and hear my mom coming down the stairs. She sees me and asks what's going on then says get him before he wakes everyone up.. I tell her I'm too frightened but I do as she says.. so I open the door.. my puppy sees me and runs to me in a hurry.. he hasn't left my side since. After I brought him in my mother and I heard car doors slam and a car hurry and speed off.. I went up to my room with my dog.. and heard another car I looked out my window and saw a car parked in front of my house.. this is a car I've never seen before.. it then left and now.. it just keeps coming back. I think it's waiting for my bedroom light to be turned off. 

Well, good luck.. I'll be sleeping with the lights on for the next year! 

Why? Because I for sure don't want to see this or have this happen! ha ha!

I'll also be sleeping with this by my bed now!

Woo hoo!

Sabrina is the best. ha ha. She can always help me to get up the nerv to do something I'm dying to do. :) Like.. ask a boy on a date, go clubbing, rock out in a car and not care what people think.. you know silly things that good ol' Chelsey just doesn't do. ha ha! Well.. she got me to do just one of those things myself doesn't like to do and it turned out to be AMAZING. I'm pretty happy/excited/too many emotions to decide what I am right now! :) So anyone who crosses my path.. be amazed at my natural beauty of happiness. ha ha!
